The backpack that makes every mountain hike a pleasure: Weighing just 340g, the Uphill 8 is very light and minimalist, yet still guarantees a high level of comfort. Its asymmetrically opening main compartment offers a volume of 8L. In addition, a flat, stretchy mesh pocket and a side pocket secured by a zipper allow easy access to your mobile phone or energy bar without having to remove the bike backpack. The versatile lacing on the outside has a triple function: it can accommodate a jacket when the backpack is full; it allows the backpack to be compressed to save space; and it can be used to attach hiking poles. The 3D mesh fabric on the back and shoulder straps allows good ventilation. Reflective elements, an opening for a hydration system, and a rain cover in the stuff sack complete the range of this all-rounder. All materials contain a high proportion of recycled components. A certified mass balance method is used for the ultra-light, siliconized main material of the lightweight backpack. It involves recovering pyrolysis oil from used tires, which is then used for traditional polyamide manufacturing. Chemical recycling reduces CO2 emissions by up to 60%. In addition, this product is climate-neutral: emissions from materials, the manufacturing process, and shipping were comprehensively determined and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions were fully offset by the independent non-profit organization "myclimate."
