The Crankbrothers Mallet BOA Clip-in shoe cuts a fine figure on race tracks and in bike parks. The innovative Match system optimizes engagement for every MTB Clip-in system, whether Crankbrothers or SPD. The shoe comes pre-installed with the Match Shim and Crankbrothers Cleat in a neutral position, so it can be used immediately with Crankbrothers pedals.

Match BoxThe beveled Match Cleat Box provides easy access to the pedals at the front and rear and keeps mud out. An extra-stiff carbon shank efficiently transmits power when climbing or sprinting.

Match CompoundThe medium-friction rubber compound (MC1) allows for easy entry and exit of the pedals and is hard enough to withstand wear. The radial lug pattern around the cleat ensures smooth release of the pedal body.

Match OutsoleThe profile is designed to provide traction off the bike. The angled, directionally spaced toe and heel lugs provide uphill and downhill traction on steep terrain. The shoe's beveled toe ensures a secure footing on steep terrain.

Perforated materials and mesh windows provide ventilation that helps feet stay cool in hot weather and dry quickly in wet conditions.
