Made from a unique combination of lightweight aluminum and Textonile. Textonile is a fabric you may know from modern outdoor furniture. What's special about this material is that it makes the basket weatherproof, shape-stable, and fade-resistant.

At the bottom of the basket there is a separate protective mat and a strap with a click closure to secure your valuables. This way you can secure your handbag or laptop bag in the basket while cycling. It's so safe! For your own safety while cycling, the basket is equipped with an integrated LED strip*. This makes you more visible in the dark. The LED lighting operates on two AAA batteries (sold separately).

With a simple click, you can easily attach the basket to the luggage rack using the pre-mounted MIK 2.0 adapter plate (70173) or the MIK carrier plate (70170). Do you want to take the basket to the office or the store? Or do you want to change bicycle accessories, such as a child bicycle seat? Then you can remove your bicycle accessories from the luggage rack just as easily. The MIK 2.0 adapter plate leaves enough space on the luggage rack for hook bags (bicycle bags with hook attachment). This allows you to easily combine your bicycle accessories with the MIK system with a bicycle bag.
