Non-Newtonian material reacts to the type of force applied: the greater the force, the greater the material's resistance. This makes ReaFlex particularly effective at damping micro-vibrations.

The tapered profile with variable diameter and more material on the outer edge—where most contact occurs—reduces hand pressure and further enhances damping. Soft, flexible ribs in the thumb and index finger area increase grip and prevent slippage. Half-waffle and triangular profile blocks provide additional grip and finger control.
